Toolroom Supervisor We're looking for a hands-on Toolroom Supervisor to lead a small team of Toolmakers in maintaining, repairing, and developing high-precision injection mould tools, jigs, fixtures, and automation components. You'll help minimise downtime, improve tooling reliability, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing site. What You'll Do Lead and support day-to-day toolroom activities: maintenance, fault finding, breakdown repairs, and new tooling builds. Operate and oversee both CNC (EDM, Wire Eroder, CNC mill/lathe) and manual machinery (grinders, drills, welders, lathes). Ensure tools meet quality standards and production deadlines. Provide technical support to production and engineering teams. Mentor apprentices and junior staff, promoting skills development. Maintain tooling records, contribute to new project launches and trials. Uphold safety, 5S, and continuous improvement practices. What You'll Bring Proven toolmaking background-ideally within injection moulding. Skilled in CNC and manual machining, with knowledge of hot/cold runner systems. Leadership or supervisory experience. Confident problem-solver, organised, and proactive. Completed Toolmaking or Engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent). FLT licence (or willingness to obtain).
