At MyHomeCare we are recruiting for registered paediatric/general/intellectual disability nurses to join our team in *Longford Town, Longford *
*The Ideal candidate would have previous experience working one on one with children and would also be a companionate and reliable individual capable of working on their own initiative.*
*We currently have 2 clients in Longford town, both clients are children with complex needs:*
*Client 1:*
24 hours per week. 2 x 8 hour night shifts and 1 x 8 hour day shift- Monday to Saturday
*Client 2: *
40 hours per week. Night shifts - Monday to Friday

*My Homecare Registered Nurses must have the following:*
· In date and current NMBI pin.
· Previous experience working with Children.
· Willingness to undergo any training required.
· All nurses are required to undergo Garda Vetting.
· Nurses must be Willing to register with the INMO or affiliated union.
· Full immunizations and Vaccination history will need to be provided.
*My Homecare Duties:*
* Medication Management
* Seizure management including administration of buccal midazolam if required.
* Nebulizer management
* Pain & Peg management
* Care of child with complex needs/disability
* Airway Management
* Suctioning
* Moving and handling /hoist and re-positioning.
* Skin integrity management.
* Professional boundaries/ Confidentiality
* Working in the home environment/lone worker
* Infection control and disposal of clinical waste
* CPR
