The Child and Family Agency has a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a Child Protection Specialist. This is an exciting role that involves working with children, families, and communities to provide support and protection.

As a Child Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and quality assuring the statutory inspections of non-statutory children's residential care services. You will also manage the monitoring of statutory and non-statutory children's foster care services in your operational area.
">
You will provide effective leadership and professional supervision to a team of monitoring and inspection officers in accordance with our service leadership strategy. You will also oversee the examination of concerns, notified incidents, and disclosures received in respect of relevant alternative care services.

You will work closely with the National Manager Alternative Care Inspection & Monitoring Service to develop the quality assurance role through planning, audit, production of standards, continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and research.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a minimum of five years' experience in childcare services. You should have significant experience of working in a management position and have experience of inspection or quality assurance.

You must have the requisite professional knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and management ability, for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
