Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Water Purification Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for servicing, commissioning, and supporting advanced water purification systems used in regulated manufacturing across Ireland and sometimes Europe.
* Mechanical Vapour Compression (MVC) stills
* Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems
* Ultrafiltration units
* Water softening and carbon filtration
* Distribution systems: pumps, valves, heat exchangers, instrumentation
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our water purification systems
* Commission new systems, complete testing, calibration, and performance checks to ensure they meet our high standards
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
* Work directly with clients and represent the company professionally to build strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service
* Produce clear and concise service reports and technical documentation to keep stakeholders informed
* Provide technical training to end-users to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to operate and maintain our systems effectively
Familiarity with industry standards such as c GMP, health and safety, and good laboratory practices is essential.
A degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or related engineering is required. Strong hands-on experience with pumps, motors, valves, and instrumentation is also necessary.
