Mechanical Construction Manager – PortugalWe are hiring for a Mechanical Construction Manager to be based in Portugal on a large Pharmaceutical Project. You will lead on-site mechanical construction activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery. The role coordinates site teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders while monitoring schedule, resources, and cost performance throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesPromote and enforce company safety and quality standards.Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines on site.Monitor and drive delivery of the project construction schedule.Attend and contribute to site coordination meetings with the client.Plan and monitor labour and plant requirements with site supervisors.Supervise mechanical subcontractors and site teams.Report project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.RequirementsMinimum 10 years’ experience delivering mechanical construction projects.Experience within pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar industrial sectors.Time-served fitter or mechanical engineering qualification preferred.Strong understanding of piping isometrics and general arrangement drawings.Strong organisational and time management skills.BenefitsSalary: €90,000 – €100,000 DOEGenerous living away allowance in addition to salaryFlights & AccommodationIn country travel providedPensionHealthcare scheme
