Out of Hours CNM 2 Job
CNM 2s are required to manage the operation of the treatment centre, line manage drivers, receptionists and nurses, and provide clinical governance for our out of hours services.
Job Requirements
* This role requires a qualified CNM 2 with significant experience in paediatrics, cardiac patients, and anaphylaxis patient management. Experience managing an interdisciplinary team is also essential.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for health and safety, policy development, medication management, and covering some clinical shifts each week. The out of hours service operates from 6pm - 8am on weekdays and 24/7 at weekends and public holidays.
Roster management, complaint handling, policy drafting, medication management, hygiene audits, and excellent interpersonal skills are other key requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. To manage the operation of the treatment centre and ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
2. To line manage drivers, receptionists and nurses and provide them with the support and guidance they need to do their jobs effectively.
3. To provide clinical governance for the out of hours service and ensure that all patients receive high-quality care.
4. To develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure the safe and effective management of medications.
5. To cover some clinical shifts each week to help keep the service running smoothly.
