- Cork Company Profile Join a dynamic, medium-sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that has doubled in size over the last five years.Due to a robust project pipeline and strategic expansion, we are seeking a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join my client's growing Cork team and help lead the delivery of innovative infrastructure solutions.The Role As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design and management of civil infrastructure for a diverse range of high-profile projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments.This role offers significant career progression as the firm continues its upward growth trajectory.Key Responsibilities Drainage Design: Lead the detailed design of foul and surface water drainage networks, ensuring compliance with Irish Water Codes of Practice and local authority standards.3 D Modelling: Utilise Autodesk Civil 3 D to develop complex site layouts, road alignments, and earthworks models.Hydraulic Analysis: Perform advanced hydraulic modelling using Micro Drainage / Info Drainage to ensure network efficiency and safety.Su DS Integration: Design and implement Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (Su DS), including attenuation tanks, swales, and permeable paving.Project Management: Oversee projects from initial feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.Collaboration: Liaison with architects, clients, and statutory bodies to secure technical approvals.Requirements Education: A Level 8/9 Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Experience: Minimum of 4-7 years of post-graduate experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3 D, Micro Drainage (Win Des), and Auto CAD is essential.Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Irish standards, including DMURS, GDSDS, and the TII DMRB.Professionalism: Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards it with Engineers Ireland) is highly desirable.What We Offer Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.Performance-related incentives and clear pathways for career advancement.Hybrid working options and a commitment to professional development (CPD).At Wallace Myers International Recruitment Agency we specialise in sourcing professionals for key industries and services.See our website for more details.
