Location:North Dublin Onsite:Yes Compensation: €60k basic + benefits ACCPRO has partnered with a multinational consumer/retail business to recruit for a Buying and Category Manager. This is a strategic role for the business, managing a multimillion turnover unit. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years buying/category experience.This role is site based, 5 days a week. Responsibilities: Responsibility for increasing the category growth and raising brand awareness Engage the suppliers into strategies Responsible for creating, managing, and executing a product strategy Manage the category performance Hold ongoing weekly trading review with the wider Retail team Work closely with the Merchandising teams to ensure the product ranges are on trend Utilise consumer market and competitor data and insight to define consumer segments Work on NDP initiatives, new product launches and defining go to market strategies Develop and execute compelling marketing plans Manage the digital marketing media Manage the Buying administration with contract creation and execution Preparation of the product information for range presentations Requirements: Evidence of previous buying/category experience - a minimum of 5 years Experience of working within the category, product of brand function Strong leadership and management skills Ability to work under pressure plan, organise and delegate Attention to detail and accuracy High level analytical and numerical skills Enthusiastic, self-motived, proactive and persuasive Due to the high volume of applications received, we regret that we are unable to respond to all applications.
