Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Care Manager to lead a team in providing therapeutic care and support to children and young people in a nurturing home environment.
The successful candidate will manage the home in accordance with its Statement of Purpose and ensure the maintenance of a safe and caring environment, adhering to relevant childcare legislation, national standards and policies.
This role requires someone who has:
1. A qualification in Social Care or a related field at minimum QQI Level 7
2. At least 3 years' experience working in children's residential care, with 2 years at a team leader level
3. Flexibility to work shifts as required
4. Up-to-date knowledge of legislation surrounding Residential Childcare and Safeguarding
5. Experience of multi-disciplinary working with various professionals in the industry
6. Ability to deliver reports and meet deadlines
7. A valid driving licence and business insurance
