Our client is seeking a Senior Investment Data Engineer to join a growing cloud data engineering team focused on building scalable investment data platforms and analytics solutions.This is a hands‑on role working closely with investment teams, analysts, and engineers to design and deliver modern cloud‑based data pipelines, investment data models, and reporting solutions across Snowflake and Azure environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain investment data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, SQL, and PythonIngest and transform data from platforms including Bloomberg, FactSet, and FigaroDesign scalable data models covering:Securities masterTransactionsPositionsHoldingsImplement data quality, validation, and reconciliation frameworksOptimise Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost efficiencySupport CI/CD and deployment processes within Azure DevOpsWork closely with investment stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsDrive engineering best practices, automation, and testing standardsRequired Experience5+ years’ experience in investment data engineering or investment data platformsStrong hands‑on Snowflake experienceStrong SQL and Python skillsExperience with DBT and cloud‑native ELT pipelinesExperience working with investment/market data platforms such as Bloomberg or FactSetStrong understanding of investment data domains and reporting workflowsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
