Temp Social Care Worker - Kilkenny/ Carlow - Mainstream Sector - €40k - €58k DOE FRS Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Temp Social Care Worker to join a leading Child & Family service based in the Kilkenny/ Carlow location.
This service aims to provide a caring, safe environment for young people by providing the intervention necessary to address the issues that are preventing them from living at home, foster care or other community-based services.

In your new role you will: Participate in the development and implementation of Care Plans and to ensure appropriate recording of same.
Assist in enabling parents/guardians/carers/families to sustain the safe care of their children in the home setting.
Promote the participation of children and young people in decision making on issues that affect their lives at both individual and collective levels.
Make written and verbal reports to the designated Manager on a regular basis on the progress of development of the children and their families.
Work as part of a team working with other professionals and external stakeholders.
Maintain standards of practice and levels of professional knowledge by participating in continuous professional development initiatives and attendance at courses as appropriate.
To be a successful candidate you will have: A Level 8 in Social Care or related field and registered with CORU.
Experience working with young people in a social care setting.
A full clean driver's licence.
