This role blends hands-on accounting with systems thinking, automation, and data-driven insight.Key Initial ProjectsFinance Systems Optimisation (AccountsIQ)Enable and fully leverage AccountsIQ's consolidation and multi-currency features.Streamline & standardise chart of accounts, coding structures, & intercompany processesAutomate month-end reporting and management packs using a combination of AccountsIQ, Excel, Power BI, or a connected FP&A tool. Forecasting Model BuildDevelop a dynamic forecasting model (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) capable of running "what-if" scenarios and KPI comparisons for Private Equity stakeholders.Evaluate and potentially implement a 3rd-party FP&A tool (e.g. ProForecast, Farseer, Planful) alongside Power BI. Entity RationalisationManage the wind-down of dormant entities and assist in simplifying the group structure. Audit & ComplianceDocument financial processes, controls, and compliance obligations to assist the Senior Financial Accountants. New Acquisition IntegrationSupport the financial integration of acquisitions, aligning accounting, reporting, and systems.
