About The Anner Hotel
The Anner Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Thurles, mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin and is only 1.5 hours from all major cities. In the heart of Tipperary, the Anner Hotel offers great accommodation with 92 guest rooms all tastefully decorated in restful tones, fine casual dining in Ed Bistro and Seasons Restaurant, private dining, conference suites and an extensive award‑winning Leisure Centre with an 18‑metre pool.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and control access to premises.
* Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of guests and the property.
* Respond to and report any security incidents or suspicious activities.
* Ensure that emergency procedures are followed in case of fire, theft, or other emergencies.
* Perform fire walks.
* Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during late‑night hours.
* Handle check‑ins and check‑outs for late‑night arrivals and early departures.
* Provide information and assistance to guests regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
* Address guest enquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
* Handle late‑night check‑ins and check‑outs, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservation details.
* Complete any outstanding tasks from the day shift, such as room inspections or paperwork.
* Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and incidents.
* Coordinate with housekeeping to address any guest requests for additional amenities or services.
* Perform light cleaning duties in public areas as needed.
* Ensure that public areas are tidy and presentable.
* Prepare function rooms for the following day.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
* Basic computer skills.
* Knowledge of hotel procedures and services.
* Be available to work 5 nights over 7 days of the week.
