My client is seeking an experienced IAM Engineer with strong One Identity Manager (1IM) expertise to support the governance, automation, and security of digital identities across a complex enterprise environment.
This role focuses on identity governance and administration (IGA), including lifecycle management, policy-driven access control, and automation.
You will work across hybrid identity environments, integrating on-premises Active Directory, Entra ID, and business applications into a central IGA platform.
You'll collaborate with infrastructure, security, and business teams to ensure access is secure, compliant, and aligned with organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage identity lifecycle processes (Joiner/Mover/Leaver)
Automate provisioning and deprovisioning across systems and applications
Integrate identity data sources (e.g. HR systems) and manage identity attributes
Define and maintain RBAC models, roles, and entitlements
Govern privileged, service, and non-human identities
Support hybrid identity environments (on-prem AD and Entra ID)
Enforce least privilege, segregation of duties, and access policies
Support audits, certifications, and identity risk reporting
Automate workflows and access requests using 1IM and scripting (e.g. PowerShell)
Act as an escalation point for identity-related issues
Requirements
5+ years' experience in IAM/cybersecurity, including 3+ years in IGA (e.g. One Identity Manager)
Strong experience with identity lifecycle management and automation
Solid knowledge of RBAC, entitlements, and access governance
Experience in hybrid identity environments (Active Directory and Entra ID)
Ability to analyse access risks and improve governance controls
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Desirable
Relevant IAM or security certifications (e.g. One Identity Manager, Microsoft Identity, CISSP, Security+)
Experience with access reviews, certifications, and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO *****, NIST, SOC 2)
