Overview:
We're looking for a proactive and detail-focused ServiceNow Administrator/Develope
r
to support the ongoing development, configuration, and maintenance of our ServiceNow platform. This role involves working on a wide array of modules—including ITSM, ITOM (with Cloud Provisioning & Governance), SAM, SecOps, BCM, and Now Assist—while collaborating in a dynamic Agile environment to implement improvements, resolve issues, and ensure the platform's overall health.
You'll work closely with experienced developers and stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to both operational support and strategic enhancements.
Core Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and configuration of various ServiceNow applications and modules.
* Perform routine platform admin tasks including user access management, role configuration, and system upkeep.
* Collaborate within Agile teams to support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
* Build and enhance Service Catalog items, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts (server/client-side).
* Help diagnose and resolve incidents, defects, and platform-related issues.
* Support testing, change management, and deployment of new ServiceNow functionality.
* Contribute to integration efforts with third-party systems using web services (REST, JSON).
* Stay informed about new ServiceNow features and participate in version upgrade activities.
* Maintain clear documentation of development work and configuration changes.
* Apply platform and IT service management best practices consistently.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
* 1–3 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or application development roles.
* Exposure to the ServiceNow platform through coursework, internships, or hands-on projects.
* Understanding of the ServiceNow data model, architecture, and module structure.
* Basic proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting environments (e.g., Glide API).
* Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service delivery principles.
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
* Good verbal and written communication abilities.
* Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-moving and team-driven setting.
Preferred Skills:
* Currently certified as a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or actively pursuing certification.
* Previous experience working within Agile or SCRUM-based development teams.
* Understanding of RESTful API integration
* Background working in enterprise environments, especially within consulting or professional services firms.
* Experience collaborating with managed service providers or third-party IT support vendors.
Work Environment:
This role follows a hybrid model, requiring regular in-office attendance (minimum two days per week), balanced with remote flexibility as appropriate.
