What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing audit exempt client files
* Reviewing client accounting records and preparing final adjusted trial balance
* Prepare corporation and income tax computations and returns
* Assist in training junior staff
* Exercise sound judgment in resolving technical and complex accounting issues, escalating when required.
* Coach, supervise, and develop staff, ensuring high-quality work and knowledge sharing.
* Review financial statements, accounts files, and supporting documentation to maintain compliance with professional standards.
* Contribute to ad-hoc projects and firmwide initiatives as they arise.
What will you need
What You’ll Bring
* Qualified Accountant/ Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* At least 3 years’ experience working in an SME in Ireland.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, company law, financial reporting, and risk management.
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements.
* Proven experience mentoring and leading teams.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills, both with clients and internally.
* Integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement under pressure.
