About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting staff in delivering high-quality services to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services
* Oversee and implement each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews
* Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support
* Support the Person in Charge in ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards
* Ensure delivery of appropriate, person-centred care and support for daily living activities
* Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport, and rosters
* Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management for assigned staff
* Support staff development through training, personal development planning, and reviews
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum of a Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent
* Previous experience in the ID sector, preferably in a management/supervisory role
* Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations
* In the process of CORU registration
* Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
