Planning Manager – Wind & Solar
Location: Dublin, Hybrid (3 days in office)
About the Role
We're working with a fast-growing renewable energy developer in Ireland that is rapidly expanding its portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The company has developed a strong pipeline of over 1 GW across multiple active sites and is focused on greenfield development, driving the country's transition to clean energy.
They are now seeking an experienced
Planning Manager
to join their Dublin-based team. You will work in a small, highly collaborative team and play a key role in shaping the planning strategy for new renewable energy projects.
What You'll Do
* Review and quality-control planning applications prepared by external consultants.
* Contribute to site prospecting and planning risk assessments for new development opportunities.
* Liaise with local authorities, landowners, planning consultants, and internal teams.
* Stay current with changes in Irish planning regulations relevant to renewable energy.
* Support the development team across the full project lifecycle, from site acquisition through planning consent.
About You
* Qualified planner with 3–5 years' experience, ideally in renewables, infrastructure, or environmental planning.
* Strong knowledge of the Irish planning system and experience reviewing consultant-delivered work.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ambitious and eager to grow into broader project development and management responsibilities.
