Chef de Partie – Dublin West
Excel Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting a Chef de Partie on behalf of our client, a well-regarded hotel located in Dublin West. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to join a professional kitchen team and play a key role in delivering high-quality food across multiple service areas including breakfast, lunch, bar food, restaurant service, and functions.
Salary: €35k – €38k
Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Head Chef / Sous Chef in the day-to-day running of this busy kitchen
2. Carry out HACCP duties and ensure food safety standards are consistently met
3. Prepare food for breakfast, lunch, bar food, restaurant service, and functions
4. Maintain high standards of presentation, quality, and consistency
5. Provide a high level of customer service at all times through excellent food delivery and teamwork
6. Support colleagues across all kitchen sections when required
7. Ensure cleanliness, organisation, and best practice procedures are followed daily
Requirements:
8. Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role within the hotel industry or a high-volume food business
9. HACCP trained with strong knowledge of food safety procedures
10. Strong ability to multi-task and adapt across different kitchen areas
11. Good overall knowledge of food and kitchen operations
12. Excellent communication and people skills
13. Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative
14. Available for early starts and late finishes as required by hotel service
