Role Summary
As an
Aftersales Technical Specialist
, you will provide expert technical support to the dealer network, assisting with complex vehicle issues, supporting training initiatives, and ensuring technical excellence across workshops. This is a hands-on role for someone with deep automotive knowledge who enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
* Support dealer network with technical troubleshooting and guidance.
* Respond to technical queries via phone, email, and on-site visits.
* Check workshops for correct use of technical systems and processes.
* Liaise with training teams to identify skill gaps and recommend improvements.
* Prepare and document technical reports for management.
* Collaborate with internal teams on technical and customer-related issues.
* Participate in technical meetings and implement product campaigns when required.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a technical support or senior workshop role.
* Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and diesel engine technology.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Full, clean driving licence.
