The Role
The firm is seeking a
Construction Specialist Lawyer (5–6 years PQE)
to join its market-leading Construction & Infrastructure team.
The successful candidate will work on a
broad range of high-value construction matters
, with scope to develop a practice aligned to their strengths. The team is particularly interested in candidates with either:
* A
strong, broad-based construction law background
, or
* Experience advising on
offshore wind and renewable energy projects
, particularly during the construction and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities
* Advising on
contentious and non-contentious construction law matters
, including procurement strategy, contract drafting, and project delivery
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating construction documentation, including
JCT, NEC, FIDIC
, and bespoke forms
* Advising on major
infrastructure and energy projects
, including offshore wind developments where relevant
* Supporting clients with
dispute avoidance and dispute resolution
, including adjudication, mediation, arbitration, and litigation
* Working collaboratively with colleagues across
energy, projects, real estate, and dispute resolution teams
* Developing strong client relationships and contributing to business development and profile-raising initiatives
Candidate Profile
* 5–6 years' PQE
, qualified as a solicitor in Ireland (or another common law jurisdiction with relevant experience)
* Demonstrable experience in
construction law
, either as a generalist or with a focus on offshore wind / renewables
* Strong technical knowledge combined with a commercial and pragmatic approach
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills
* Ability to manage matters with increasing autonomy and supervise junior lawyers
* Ambition to progress towards
senior associate and partnership level
Desirable Experience
* Offshore wind, renewable energy, or wider energy infrastructure project experience
* Experience advising on
large-scale or complex infrastructure developments
* Familiarity with Irish public procurement and regulatory frameworks
