Clerical Officer Grade IV St. Johns Men's Health Temporary Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ensure Waiting Lists, Referrals and Booking Systems to Men's Health/ St John's Unit are managed in an effective and efficient manner.
Achieve and maintain standards as directed by the Healthcare Records Manager and BMU Supervisor.
Proactively timely manage the communication process between staff and stakeholders Generate and update standard operating procedures for the area Ensure compliance with NTPF Guidelines Supervision and training of Urology and COIII Clerical staff including orientations, probationary reviews, staff leave and deal with any performance/conduct issues accordingly.
Men's Health Unit Manage and organise PSA clinics and booking processes Ensure strict adherence to Rapid Access timeframes.
Liaising with Radiology to produce monthly rota of prostate biopsies in accordance with Rapid Access timeframes.
X-rays scans performed externally to be downloaded Liaise with BMU Clerical Staff for in-patient and day case surgical procedures.
Dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, GP's, internal and external hospital Consultants, PHN's, Pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Co.
Reps. Checking, verifying and updating patient demographics.
Managing and organising Medical Reviews and other appointments in MHU.
Booking and administration of medical reviews (private patients) Creating new patient charts.
Maintenance of patient charts in accordance with iPMS and HSE requirements Maintenance for all Urology waiting List Management and processing of TPRO dictation /outcome for Men's Eligibility Criteria A minimum of three years administrative experience essential Previous TPRO experience essential Hold a relevant Administration qualification and have achieved a high level of proficiency in same Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative Be very patient focused with an approved record of managing sensitive and confidential information Be a highly motivated self-starter Have a comprehensive knowledge of administrative processes and IT skills (to encompass database and excel) to assist in the delivery of a coordinated approach to patient care.
