CNM 1 Surgical In-Patients Job Description
The primary role of the CNMI is to provide safe and effective care to patients.
1. Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based, care planning approach.
2. Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership.
3. Be responsible for the coordination, assessment, planning, delivery, and review of patient care by all staff in designated areas.
The CNM I will collaborate with the CNM II to co-ordinate and lead in the implementation and provision of quality care.
The post holder will be expected to take part in the on-call manager's rota as the role develops.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience within a Medical/Surgical environment.
