eMorgan McKinley, in partnership with a growing organization in Galway, is searching for a Part-Qualified Accountant. In this role, you will join a dynamic finance team to support day-to-day operations as the company prepares for international commercial expansion. This position is ideal for a collaborative professional with strong technical and interpersonal skills looking to gain exposure to both European and US financial frameworks within a high-growth environment.

You will ensure a diverse range of accounting functions are completed accurately and efficiently, maintain key vendor relationships, and support the broader needs of the finance department. How You’ll Contribu
teAccounts Payable: Oversee the end-to-end AP workflow, including the accurate verification, coding, and timely processing of invoice
s.Banking & Payments: Prepare and execute vendor payment runs and perform routine bank reconciliation
s.Vendor Relations: Manage external vendor inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and foster positive partnership
s.Expense Management: Process employee expense reimbursements in alignment with corporate policie
s.Procurement Oversight: Analyze and review the Purchase Order (PO) log to maintain data integrit
y.Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, tax regulations, accounting policies, and documentation standard
s.Period-End Support: Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including supporting the annual external audi
t.Future Scope: Transition into managing Accounts Receivable processes as commercial revenue scale
s.General Ledger: Prepare and post standard journal entries (including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
).Regulatory Filings: Assist with the preparation and submission of statutory returns, local tax filings (e.g., VAT), and statistical reportin
g.Reconciliations: Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and manage supporting schedule
