We are seeking a skilled Neurovascular Postdoctoral Researcher to contribute to the development of an innovative dual-cell therapy targeting neonatal brain injury. These roles offer the chance to work at the intersection of neuroscience, cellular therapeutics, analytical development, and translational research—supporting progress from preclinical development toward clinical application.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, validate, and optimise in vitro hypoxia models relevant to neonatal brain injury
2. Perform multi-omics analyses, including proteomics and RNA-seq
3. Define and evaluate critical quality attributes (CQAs) for advanced therapeutic medicinal products (ATMPs)
4. Develop potency assays and release criteria to support preclinical and future GMP processes
5. Integrate analytical methods into manufacturing workflows
6. Analyse data, prepare reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders
7. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary research consortium
8. Contribute to scientific articles, grant applications, and conference presentations
Essential Criteria
9. PhD in neuroscience, regenerative medicine, cell therapy, or a closely related discipline
10. Minimum of 3 years postdoctoral research experience
11. Strong expertise in mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), endothelial colony-forming cells (ECFCs), and/or neurovascular injury models
12. Hands-on experience with proteomics, transcriptomics, potency assays, and CQA identification
13. Excellent data analysis, communication, and project management skills
14. Experience mentoring or supervising junior researchers
