Description : Parsons is anticipating the need for a Risk Manager to join our team and support on a complex infrastructure project on site in Dublin .
In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the risk management framework, ensuring proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across all phases of the project lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing: Lead risk reporting to governance bodies, support assurance reviews, and provide expert guidance on complex or emerging risk issues.
Develop and implement risk management frameworks aligned with programme objectives, regulatory requirements, and international best practice (e.g., ISO *****).
Oversee the identification, evaluation, and management of complex and emerging risks across the organization.
Liaise with executive leadership, delivery teams, and external stakeholders to embed risk-informed decision-making across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Provide high-level risk reporting and insights to senior management, governance boards, and external regulators to ensure transparency and accountability.
Design and facilitate risk workshops and capability-building initiatives to enhance organizational risk maturity.
Ensure risk management practices remain compliant with evolving legislation, standards, and internal policies, while driving continuous improvement.
Direct the development and governance of programme-wide risk registers, ensuring risks and mitigation actions are accurately captured, escalated, and monitored.
Provide expert risk management advice and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Lead regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure risk controls are embedded in day-to-day operations.
Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
What Required Skills You'll Bring: 3+ to 10+ years' experience in risk management or project controls, with a proven track record on high-value infrastructure or construction projects.
Previous experience in a similar risk management or project management role.
Experience in the development of complex risk models in a capital project environment.
Proficiency with risk tools such as @Risk, PRA, RiskHive, ARM, or similar.
Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Completed or in-progress IRM Diploma or equivalent risk management qualification.
