Occupational Therapist Paediatrics My client is seeking a passionate and motivated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their growing team. The successful candidate will provide assessment and intervention for children presenting with a range of developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs in a supportive multidisciplinary environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with families and other professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care that supports meaningful outcomes for children. This role is based in South Cork. Responsibilities of Occupational Therapist Paediatrics Conduct comprehensive paediatric occupational therapy assessments using appropriate standardized and observational tools. Identify strengths and areas of need in areas such as sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, play, emotional regulation, daily living skills, and school participation. Develop and implement individualized, goal-focused therapy plans. Deliver therapy sessions in the clinic and, where appropriate, in school or community settings. Provide sensory-based and functional interventions tailored to each childs needs. Support children with neurodevelopmental differences including autism, ADHD, developmental coordination difficulties, and sensory processing challenges. Provide practical strategies, home programmes, and education to parents and caregivers. Collaborate with teachers, SNAs, and other professionals involved in the childs care. Prepare detailed written reports following assessments and progress reviews. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards and clinic policies. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Contribute to the development of paediatric services within Sunflower Clinic. Requirements of Occupational Therapist Paediatrics BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy. CORU registration (or eligibility for registration). Experience working with children in paediatric occupational therapy settings (clinic, school, or community). Strong understanding of child development and paediatric occupational therapy frameworks.
