Job Opportunity: Governance Support Specialist
The role of the Governance Support Specialist is to provide high-quality corporate governance and secretariat support to Executive and Board Committees within the Corporate Governance team.
* Support Committee Secretaries in managing meetings, reviewing and circulating papers, ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards and committee guidelines.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the Corporate Governance team to set Work Programmes, review Terms of Reference, conduct Effectiveness Evaluations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform ad hoc tasks and take on additional responsibilities as required, including Corporate Governance Projects or tasks assigned by senior management.
* Contribute to the broader accountabilities of the function by working closely with colleagues and teams throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meeting Support: Assist Committee Secretaries in preparing and coordinating meetings, including reviewing and distributing papers, and ensuring that meeting packs meet corporate governance standards.
* Corporate Governance Initiatives: Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance corporate governance practices.
* Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform various tasks as required, including data entry, research, and other administrative duties.
