The Opportunity
We have a fantastic opportunity for Senior Structural Engineers to work with our Bridges teams to deliver the largest civil engineering and associated infrastructure projects across Scotland with cumulative values in excess of £1bn. With shared office spaces in Motherwell, Polmadie, Edinburgh, Perth, Aberdeen and Newcastle coming soon, we offer hybrid working, attending the office when necessary, and remaining days working remotely. We welcome applications from Engineers across this region.
Amey is responsible for the management and maintenance of the Southwest and Northeast Trunk Road Network Management Contracts (NMC) on behalf of Transport Scotland. The Southwest contract was awarded in 2020 and the Northeast in 2022, both 8‑year contracts extendable up to 12 years.
In addition to the NMC contracts, we also have a diverse portfolio of major bridges, transportation and civil engineering design projects with Transport Scotland, Local Authorities, national Highways and several established contractors across the country.
Working with Amey, we provide excellent opportunities for you to be involved in some of the most exciting and challenging structural engineering projects associated with Scotland’s arterial road network and wider field, which will enable you to further develop your technical, engineering, and professional career.
Current / Ongoing Project Highlights Include:
