Overview
An exciting opportunity is now available and applications are invited for the position of Site Operations Manager at the Monread Fare forecourt services facility, one of the leading fuel, convenience and fast & fresh food locations in Kildare. This senior leadership role within the Lidon Group entails overall responsibility for operation of the site.
Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operations of the site to ensure safe, compliant, and customer-focused performance.
Deliver on KPIs and drive profitability while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Manage and develop site team members, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.
Coordinate with off-site group functions such as Finance, HR, Maintenance, Marketing and Fresh Food expertise to support site operations.
Maintain presentation, safety, and HACCP standards across the site.
Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment with strong leadership and communication.
Qualifications and experience
Minimum of five years senior management experience
Excellent people management and communications skills
Experience in talent acquisition, retention & staff development
Customer service focused
Proven ability to manage and perform in pressurised situations
Strong sales, marketing and PR focus for a front-facing ambassador role
Commercial and financial acumen
Innovative and forward looking in the context of site development
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Structured and goal-oriented work approach
Attention to detail and commitment to the highest standards in site presentation and operation
Strong rapport with site staff, suppliers and customers
Ability to create and maintain a positive, respectful and stable work environment
Familiar with Health & Safety and HACCP regulations
Trustworthy and discreet
This is a full-time and permanent site-based position on a flexible five days over seven working arrangement.
