I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation seeking an experienced HR Generalist / HR People Partner to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with a strong generalist foundation who is ready to step into a more autonomous, standalone HR role with broad exposure and real opportunity to grow. Working closely with leadership, you will act as a trusted HR partner, supporting the full employee lifecycle while helping to drive positive people initiatives across the business.
About the Role
This is a broad, hands-on HR role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational HR with employee engagement, coaching managers, and contributing to a positive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a couple of years’ HR generalist experience and be eager to take on greater ownership in a role where they can continue developing their HR career.
Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end HR support across the employee lifecycle
Partner with managers on employee relations matters, people management, and HR best practice
Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, probation, and performance processes
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, and systems
Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and people-focused initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and policies
Act as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries across the business
Qualifications
2+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
CIPD qualification or working towards desirable
Required Skills
Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of HR responsibilities
Confident supporting managers with day-to-day people matters
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
