Join A-TechSYN as a Senior Integration Engineer – Be Part of the Future of UAV
Innovation
A-techSYN, a leader in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) design and manufacturing, is
growing – and we're looking for a talented
Integration Engineer
to join our expanding team
A-techSYN is at the forefront of UAV technology, delivering cutting-edge solutions to
customers worldwide. Our mission is to empower businesses with advanced systems that
improve operational efficiency and enable innovation.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Integration Engineer to join our engineering team and take
responsibility for integrating payloads and electrical systems into our UAV platforms. This is
a hands-on role combining electronic hardware integration, test planning, documentation,
and close collaboration with both internal engineering and flight operations teams. You will
lead the definition and delivery of how payloads interact with the aircraft, as well as
supporting broader system upgrades and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
* Define how new payloads will be electrically and mechanically integrated into the
UAV, from early-stage requirements through to final installation.
* Support internal and customer-facing documentation, including installation guides,
interface definitions, and usage manuals.
* Design and prepare PCB layouts and cable harnessing for new systems and
payloads.
* Collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless interfacing between onboard
systems and ground-control interfaces.
* Plan and carry out bench, ground, and flight tests of payloads and electronics
upgrades.
* Support fault-finding and troubleshooting on live aircraft across sensors, power
systems, avionics, and actuators.
* Create wiring diagrams, system schematics, and supporting engineering
documentation for integration and compliance.
* Work closely with avionics, mechanical, and flight test engineers to ensure system-
level success.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Strong background in electronics, including PCB layout and electrical harness
design.
* Hands-on experience integrating hardware systems in UAVs, robotics, aerospace, or
related fields.
* Practical familiarity with low-level communication protocols such as CAN, RS-232,
and Ethernet.
* Skilled in using diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, or signal testers.
* Confident in producing engineering documentation such as schematics, wiring
diagrams, and test reports.
* Experience with CAD software for component mounting and electrical integration.
* Ability to work independently on multi-disciplinary engineering tasks and follow
through to implementation.
Desirable Skills
* Experience developing control or monitoring interfaces in C#, TypeScript, or Python.
* Background in UAV systems, especially related to payload control, sensors, or
avionics.
* Familiarity with MAVLink or other UAV communication protocols.
* Involvement in hands-on field testing or operational support of unmanned systems.
Qualifications
Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a related
discipline
