Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of a store. The successful candidate will work at the heart of Tesco, providing great service to colleagues and managers.
* Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
* Coach and manage the team to deliver great service, availability, and a positive lasting impression of Tesco
* Take full accountability for the store when the Store Manager is not present
* Be the go-to person for all colleagues for their day-to-day queries in the absence of their Line Manager
Requirements:
* Previous retail management experience required
* A passion for working with people and customers
* The ability to lead and manage teams
* To be flexible in the way you think to make decisions and handle change
* Ability to effectively organise, prioritise, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
