Our organisation is seeking a dynamic Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our commercial insurance business.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with a strong background in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, particularly within manufacturing, construction, and retail sectors. Key responsibilities include preparing and managing renewal submissions and new business quotes for assigned producers, liaising with insurers and underwriters to place cover and negotiate terms, submitting business to market and following up to secure competitive terms.
This role requires a high level of expertise in general insurance products, with a focus on manufacturing, construction, and retail. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a commercial insurance role, possess excellent communication and time management skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and brokerage/CRM systems.
Key skills and qualifications:
* Strong knowledge of general insurance products
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial insurance role
* CIP Commercial or APA Commercial qualification
* Experience preparing complex submissions to the market
