What you’ll do
Statutory Financial Reporting & Global Audit Management
Oversee preparation and filing of statutory financial statements and regulatory filings across all international jurisdictions
Ensure appropriate alignment between U.S. GAAP reporting and local statutory reporting frameworks (IFRS and local GAAP where required)
Maintain strong oversight of local statutory audit processes, ensuring consistent quality and predictable completion timelines
Coordinate statutory audits globally across all jurisdictions, driving standardised audit readiness processes and documentation standards
Maintain strong relationships with local auditors and external service providers supporting statutory reporting
Formally document all technical accounting positions supporting the statutory financial statements, maintaining a clear and audit-ready record of judgements and policy elections across jurisdictions
Intercompany & Cross-Border Accounting
Partner with the teams to drive the global framework for intercompany accounting, settlements, and cross-border funding activities
Collaborate with the Business Applications team to ensure the ERP and wider technology stack appropriately supports intercompany and cross-border accounting processes, including system configuration, automation capabilities, and scalability to meet evolving business requirements
Responsible for the management of intercompany recharges and the maintenance of strong intercompany relationships across all group entities
Review transfer pricing journal entries in collaboration with the Corporate Accounting team, ensuring accuracy and completeness of charges posted across group entities
Work with both the Tax and Corporate Accounting teams to operationalize the transfer pricing process across the group and validate outcomes
Preparation and review of reconciliations of intercompany balances as part of the consolidated financial reporting cycle and statutory reporting cycle
Provide support on reconciliations and other ad hoc Finance tasks as required, collaborating with the broader Accounting team to meet month-end and period close deadlines
Oversee accounting for capital contributions, dividends, intercompany loans, and other cross-border financing and treasury initiatives
Own the intercompany settlement process in coordination with Treasury, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of intercompany balances across all entities
Ensure ongoing compliance with intercompany agreements
Review cumulative translation adjustment (CTA) and FX gains/losses associated with intercompany activity for reasonableness, and elevate significant variances as appropriate
International Entity Governance
Maintain comprehensive entity compliance calendars, statutory governance requirements, and local regulatory obligations across jurisdictions
Partner with Legal and Tax to support entity formation, restructuring, liquidations, and entity rationalisation initiatives
Monitor the regulatory landscape across all operating countries to anticipate and assess the impact of changes on the Company’s compliance obligations
Process Transformation & Automation
Design and implement scalable statutory reporting processes that reduce manual effort and improve global compliance visibility
Leverage ERP capabilities, workflow automation, and emerging technologies to modernise the global statutory reporting infrastructure
Establish standardised templates, reporting frameworks, and governance models across jurisdictions
Design efficient process and procedure enhancements for all aspects of intercompany accounting, driving consistency and reducing manual effort across the global entity footprint
Manage and lead finance transformation projects as required, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver process improvements and system enhancements
Required Experience & Skills
Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 8+ years progressive accounting experience
Demonstrable experience managing statutory financial reporting and audit processes across multiple international jurisdictions
Solid understanding of intercompany accounting, transfer pricing concepts, and cross-border transaction flows within a multinational group
Experience in a global finance function of a multi-location, multinational corporation — SaaS or technology sector background a strong advantage
Strong technical accounting knowledge across US GAAP or IFRS, with the ability to document and defend complex positions clearly
Working knowledge of NetSuite or a similar ERP; comfortable engaging with Business Applications teams on system configuration and process improvement
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-geography, managing multiple stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Legal, and Operations with confidence
Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing deadlines across jurisdictions and drive accountability in others
Mindset for automation and continuous improvement; proficient with spreadsheets and data tools, and eager to pilot AI-assisted workflows to raise the bar on what Finance can deliver
