Job Overview
As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in managing the production environment for our Front Office, Operations, and Client teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic technology group that is always looking for ways to improve financial services.
Responsibilities:
* Provide production management for systems used by various teams.
* Ensure the reliability and resiliency of the production environment.
* Participate in incident and problem management processes.
* Develop strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in software development and/or application support.
* Strong communication skills and enthusiasm as a team player.
* Research, analytical, investigation, and troubleshooting skills.
* A tenacious sense of ownership and desire to bring incidents to resolution quickly.
* Experience with writing database queries using SQL (MS SQL preferred) and familiarity with navigating Linux operating system.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience working in Cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure).
* Software development skills to perform code changes for bug fixes or automation tasks.
* Ability to prioritize effectively within a dynamic global environment.
