Who We Are
Established in 1951, the Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is a voluntary organisation and national charity working with children and adults with disabilities. The voluntary sector provides 75% of the disability services in Ireland. Alongside voluntary organisations and the Health Service Executive (HSE), CRC offers a variety of services to children and adults with disabilities. We provide general disability services in partnership with the HSE.

Description
Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Permanent, Full-time and Part-time roles based in CRC Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT)
The CRC Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNT) provide intervention to children aged 0-18 years with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based on a Family-Centered Practice Model aligned with the Progressing Disability Services framework. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team.
In 2024, CRC has initiated a programme of organisational transformation, partnering with the Virginia Mason Institute, leaders in healthcare improvement and transformational change. We welcome applications from individuals eager to contribute to our forward-thinking children's teams and to implementing lean healthcare practices.
We currently have vacancies for permanent positions across our Dublin and Waterford CDNTs.
Requirements:
- Recognized IASLT Speech and Language Therapy qualification and current CORU registration
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, including working with clients with physical and sensory disabilities
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Full driver's license and access to a car (applicants without this are encouraged to apply; acquisition details will be discussed at interview)
- Experience in service planning and development
- Experience working with clients with excessive drooling
- Experience in education, training, research, or audits
- Experience coordinating clinics and leading in a consultative capacity
- Interest in developing clinical skills related to drooling management
