Job Title

A dynamic and motivated Health and Performance Coordinator is required to support our physiotherapy service.

* Skillfully deliver clinical and administrative duties to provide a high-quality service to users.


Responsibilities:

* Support physiotherapists in delivering a high-quality clinical service of inpatient and post-operative outpatient physiotherapy.
* Deliver ward-based inpatient physiotherapy and pre-operative and post-operative outpatient physiotherapy under the supervision of a physiotherapist.
* Liaise with the physiotherapist regarding patients' progress and organize group activities.
* Ensure appropriate record-keeping as per standards outlined.
* Provide professional support to maintain patient dignity.
* Work according to ongoing protocols and evidence-based management.
* Carry out tasks related to the planning, organization, and maintenance of physiotherapy programs and department as directed by the physiotherapist manager.
* Conduct assessments and deliver programming as required to support injury risk management and deliver exercise-based rehabilitation and return to performance programs.
* Develop and run exercise classes for the management of chronic illness and post-operative orthopaedic care.
* Perform performance testing, e.g., isokinetic testing.
* Complete various tasks as directed by the physiotherapist manager.
* Organize and complete duties in a timely manner within settings appropriate to service-user needs and in line with policy/guidelines.
* Maintain professional standards in relation to consent, confidentiality, ethics, and legislation.
* Support physiotherapy staff with administrative and clerical duties.
* Assist in the organization, maintenance, and/or ordering of equipment and materials used in assessment and treatment, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain/clean equipment and treatment areas as requested.
* Comply with procedures about the recommendation and provision of all assistive equipment/custom-made devices.
* Maintain accurate records of patient assessments and interventions.
* Keep up-to-date statistics and other administrative records as required by the multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to service planning and development as part of the physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team.
