Arcon Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller on behalf of a well-established client in Co. Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional to join a busy organisation on a fixed-term contract basis.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the finance function, supporting senior management, and ensuring accurate financial reporting and operational control.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Financial analysis and performance reporting
Managing day-to-day finance operations
Ensuring compliance with financial controls and procedures
Supporting strategic business decisions with financial insight
Liaising with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
Requirements
Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
Previous experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance role
Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Advanced Excel and financial systems experience
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
