Meetings and Events Coordinator
The role involves coordinating meetings, conferences, weddings and other events. The successful candidate will plan and execute meetings with various departments to ensure seamless event execution.
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Event Planning is preferred for this position.
* Proven experience in event planning preferably in a hospitality setting is essential.
To excel as an events coordinator you should have excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. You should be highly detail oriented ensuring that all logistics are meticulously planned out prior to any given meeting or conference including venue selection accommodations catering services etc.
A proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint and Access will also be beneficial along with knowledge of social media platforms relevant software applications used within the industry.
