We are looking for a Repairs Manager to join our Repairs Team based in our Dublin Office.
Are you an experienced lift engineer ready to step into a leadership role? We're looking for a Repairs Manager to join our Repairs Operations team. In this dynamic role, you'll lead major lift repair projects, manage field engineers and subcontractors, and ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
You will be responsible for:
- Plan & Execute Repairs: Coordinate and schedule lift repair jobs to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime. Ensure parts and documentation are ready before the job starts.
- Lead a Team: Supervise and support a team of engineers and subcontractors, providing training and mentoring to drive performance and development.
- Deliver Results: Ensure all repairs meet safety standards, quality expectations, and budget targets. Conduct site audits and follow up on completed jobs.
- Customer Communication: Act as the main point of contact for customers during repair works, offering clear updates and professional service.
- Health & Safety First: Champion safe working practices and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations.
- Service Support (if required): Occasionally participate in the on-call rota to support the local Service Team in emergency situations.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in the lift industry, whether field or office-based, ideally within the Repairs sector.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Experience delivering training or mentoring technical staff.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
