In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on a variety of materials, including stainless steel and aluminum. Responsibilities
* Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications.
* Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and specifications.
* Perform quality inspections on welds to ensure they meet visual and technical standards.
* Collaborate with team members to optimize welding processes and improve efficiencies in production.
* Maintain welding equipment in proper working condition through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all welding operations.
* Document work completed, including welding processes and any issues encountered during production.
* Participate in training programs to enhance welding skills and stay updated on new techniques and technologies.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent; certification in TIG welding preferred.
* Proven experience as a TIG Welder with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
* Ability to work with various metals, particularly stainless steel and aluminum.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good physical stamina and dexterity, with a strong focus on safety practices.
* Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Flexibility to work on different projects and locations as required.
