Vickerstock are working with a Civil Contractor on the appointment of a Site Engineer for a large remediation project in Baltinglass, Wicklow
About the Project
A remediation project covering waste removal, enabling, drainage, access and conservation of original site features
Your new role as Site Engineer
* Work on concrete, drainage & enabling
* Setting out gridlines and layouts for site, using software such as TotalStation and GPS
* Reviewing and updating programmes of works
* Ensure project runs smoothly and in line with timelines
* Reviewing subcontractors works against quality standards
* Liaising with Project Manager
* Promote health and Safety on site
What you'll need to be successful
* 5 years experience as a Site engineer
* Strong use of Totalstation and GPS
* Degree or Apprenticeship level education in Construction or Civil Engineering
* Experience with relevant documentation such as sign-offs and valuations
* Full Driver's Licence
* Full Right to Work in Ireland
* Ability to travel - you will be based on one site, however occasionally may be asked to work on other locations.
