Legal Secretary | Donnybrook, Dublin 4 | Perm Our client, a well-established firm based in Donnybrook, is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to their team.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting solicitors with a broad range of secretarial and administrative duties.
Main Responsibilities: Document Support: Prepare, draft, proofread, and format legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Typing: Carry out audio/dictaphone typing with accuracy and speed.
Diary & Calendar Management: Organise and maintain solicitor diaries, arranging meetings, court dates, and key deadlines.
Client Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for clients, managing queries and scheduling appointments.
File & Record Management: Maintain well-structured filing systems (paper and electronic) and manage online registrations.
Research & Information Support: Assist with basic legal research, retrieving documents, and providing administrative support for case preparation.
Court & Agency Filings: Prepare and file relevant legal documentation with courts and external bodies.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive client and case information with discretion at all times.
Team Assistance: Work closely with the wider team to ensure administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Skills & Experience Required: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or strong background in legal administration.
Excellent IT proficiency (MS Office, Excel, and legal case management/document systems).
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
Team-oriented with a flexible, proactive approach.
