A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Mount Wolseley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort as Resort Operations Manager.

Standing on its own 18-Hole Championship Golf Course and featuring a Sanctuary Spa, Leisure Club Facilities including 20m Indoor Pool, The Mount Wolseley Hotel near Dublin offers luxury hotel accommodation in Carlow which matches an elegant, chic interior with ultra-modern amenities and impeccable service.

Responsibilities

* To lead the Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the resort operation on a day-to-day basis.
* Provide strategic support to the General Manager for F&B hotel operations.
* Effectively lead, motivate, and communicate clearly in developing the team.
* Manage all areas within your remit to ensure positive customer experiences through the implementation of all standards and service culture.
* Maintain and develop systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the business.
* Responsible for effective relationship building with customers and employees.
* Available to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekend shifts including Public Holidays.
* To assist in all Food and Beverage Outlets across the Hotel as required.
* Responsibility whilst on shift, for all Food & Beverage areas to include planning and coordinating service, supervision and training of team members, cash handling and guest assistance.
* Be proactive and have a desire to develop standards and promote continuous improvement among employees.
* Lead the development and continuous learning of the resort staff.
* Support the profitability and cost management of the resort.
* Ensuring that each department is operating in accordance with the resort standards and staffing levels.
* Be courteous and professional and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service.

Carrying out duty shifts and assisting in Reception, Accommodation and all Food and Beverage outlets when the need arises.

Requirements

About The Role

* 3-4 years’ experience in Operations management.
* Standards Driven; particularly in Food & Beverage.
* Strong desire to progress and develop your career in hospitality .
* People leadership and motivation experience.
* Strong communicator; and comfortable in contributing to the overall hotel strategy.
* Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
* A passion for customer service.
* Flexibility and a proactive approach are a must in this role.
* Excellent communication and people management skills, enthusiastic and motivated.
