Overview:

In this role, you will combine your technical expertise with your sales skills to promote and sell our products or services to customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive product adoption.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with the ability to understand complex products and communicate benefits to non-technical customers. Proven experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar roles within the security, IT, or networking industries is essential.
You will be responsible for:
* Identifying and engaging with prospective customers through various channels to understand their needs and present our technical solutions.
* Using your technical knowledge to explain features, benefits, and applications of our products/services.
* Providing technical demonstrations and presentations to customers, showcasing the product's capabilities and how it solves business challenges.
* Working with the sales team to create customized sales strategies and goals for specific customer segments.
* Offering pre-sale and post-sale technical support, working with engineering and support teams to ensure smooth product implementation.
* Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, becoming their trusted advisor for technical inquiries.
* Monitoring industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and enhance product offerings.
* Tracking sales activities and outcomes, providing regular reports on progress, forecasts, and opportunities to the Commercial Director.
Requirements:
* Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
* Keyboarding, computer usage and familiarity with systems used by the Accounts Department
* Regular talking and hearing
* Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
* Frequent sitting for long periods
* Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information
* Reading and analyzing reports and data
