ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Key Account Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility for many "Vending" Key Accounts in CCH/BDS, this will include Micro Markets / Wholesale & Coffee both key independent sites & groups. You will be the key single point of contact for your Key Accounts & local independent stand alone sites, devising and delivering on strategic initiatives including management of our full '24/7' portfolio. You will collaborate with internal functions and market insights to achieve customer and P&L success. Through your role you will be required to support delivery of sales execution plans. You will report directly to the Head of Vending.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* P&L Ownership & Management of respective Key Accounts to Gross Profit level.
* Win new Vending Business across the Autonomous Retail channel both independent stand-alone & key accounts.
* Management of customer contracts & Tender negotiations.
* Proactive management and overall accountability for the customer accounts receivable process.
* Fully accountable for the agreement, management, and delivery of your Key Account joint business plans (JBP's). JBP scorecards to be updated monthly and reviewed with your Key Accounts via a monthly meeting routine.
* Manage the delivery of regional channel KBI's through the Vending sales team.
* Gain customer commitment to our programs and initiatives to deliver joint value creation.
* Ensure compliance with company CSR and commercial policies.
* Stretch your growth and development by participating in Key Cross Functional Business Projects.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

* Minimum 5+ years' experience within a FMCG sales or Vending role with a successful performance record.
* Direct experience managing a Key Account customer base. Ability to optimise results by managing mutual 'win - win' solutions whilst maintaining customer relationships.
* Professional manner - articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
* Results orientated, output driven, tenacious and resilient, can-do attitude with a strong desire to make things happen, entrepreneurial and self- motivating.
* Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills.
* IT literate with proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint and a working knowledge of SAP.
* Full, unrestricted driving licence.

DESIRED CRITERIA

* Educational qualification to third level in a business' related discipline.
* Proven track record in a management role (min 3 years) – preferably in Key Accounts, Field Sales, or Marketing.
