As the Logistics Team Lead, you will oversee the shipping operations, ensuring seamless coordination between departments and providing top-notch service to our customers. This role involves leading a team, managing shipping processes, and resolving customer issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the shipping/logistics team, providing guidance and support.
Oversee the planning and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment within our SLA's.
Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints, providing effective resolutions.
Develop and implement shipping policies and procedures.
Monitor and analyse shipping performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments to optimize the supply chain.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, returns, and exchanges.
Maintain comprehensive records of shipping activities and customer interactions.
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Skills Required:
Proven experience in shipping, customer service, or a related field.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in shipping software and customer service tools.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
