Your new role
As a Design Manager, you will oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and creativity. You will lead a team of talented architects and designers, coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver exceptional architectural projects.
Lead and manage the design team, providing creative and technical direction
Develop and oversee architectural designs, ensuring they meet client requirements and industry standards
Create detailed drawings and 3D models using Revit software
Coordinate with internal and external project teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients
Ensure compliance with RIAI standards and other regulatory requirements
Conduct site analysis, including surveys and site visits
Prepare design proposals, presentations, and reports
Contribute to business development through pitching, networking, and lead generation
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal candidates will have:
Extensive experience in architectural design and project management
Proficiency in Revit for creating detailed drawings and 3D models
Membership with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI)
Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop junior staff
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
A solid understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices
