Your new role As a Junior Business Development Manager, you will support the commercial team in developing customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities. This role is well suited to someone with early experience in sales, retail, or food service who is looking to progress into a business development and account management responsibilities include: Supporting the sales team in developing and managing relationships with retail and food service customers Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across retail, hospitality, and food service sectors Conducting client visits and product presentations Assisting with the management of existing customer accounts to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback Collaborating with internal teams such as production, logistics, and marketing to ensure effective order fulfilment Maintaining accurate sales reports, CRM records, and account documentation Supporting promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches as required What you'll need to succeed Excellent communication and relationship-building skills High levels of motivation, organisation, and willingness to learn Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong customer service focus and commercial awareness Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems is beneficial.
